We first met Jugal twenty years ago at a poetry reading in Chennai. He had a big smile and an easy ability to talk with everyone. Every now and then as we took our publishing baby steps, he would send us an email with words of encouragement. Two years ago, when he wrote to us to say hi, we told him we were working on an anthology of weird/horror tales. He sent us "Ice Cream Boy", his novelette about young people navigating life in a strange snowed-in future Delhi, and their titular friend with a body made of frozen dessert....
